Ready to Take Ownership of Your Health?

Ready to Do the Work?

FIO (Fix It Ourselves) is open to anyone ready to take responsibility for their health, improve health outcomes and be part of a system-wide shift toward prevention and accountability. There’s no cost to sign up, but participants may incur personal costs based on their care path. This program is built for people who are willing to invest in what matters most: their health.

Be Ready. Be Accountable. Be the Change.

What Makes FIO Different

This program isn’t about perfection, it’s about progress.
We believe people stick with change when they help define it. That’s why FIO emphasizes personal ownership, flexible planning, and a realistic pace.

Participant Requirements

ACA-Compliant Health Insurance
Most employer-sponsored or commercial plans qualify. This allows for proper coordination with your chosen physician and access in case of expensive need.

Work with a Program-Approved Primary Care Physician (PCP)
Your doctor must be able to spend adequate time with you, explore lifestyle options, and prioritize sustainable change. Not just write prescriptions or referrals.

Establish Your Lifestyle Baseline
You’ll document how you currently live, including:

  • Activity type and frequency

  • Nutrition platform or approach

  • Use of fitness or sleep trackers

  • Habits related to sleep, alcohol, tobacco, and more

Track Agreed-Upon Health Metrics
You and your PCP will define what to monitor. Calories, steps, macros, sleep, glucose, etc. and how it fits into your lifestyle and goals.

Apply Physician Recommendations Thoughtfully
You’re encouraged to follow your PCP’s guidance on labs, screenings, medications, and lifestyle shifts and will have access to a Health Coach if needed, but the plan will always reflect your input and consent.
